Grand Tetons National Park

Once again I want to share with you some photos of Grand Teton National Park.  One park you must see if you go to Yellowstone.  The entrance to the two parks are about 15 miles apart (south entrance to Yellowstone - North entrance to Grand Teton).  Definitely worth extra time in the area.

This is looking south across Yellowstone Lake towards the Tetons.

The Tetons go on for miles and form a great barrier on the south side of the Snake River.

Jackson Lake is the largest lake and is the result of Jackson dam on the Snake River.

Many a Teton shot includes one of the Barns on the Mormon Row.  It was where the original Mormon's settled in this valley.

Another barn on Mormon Row, this time with Bison hanging out and, of course, the Teton's in the background.

My first trip to the Tetons, I had the other pristine photos in mind, but alas winter had set in and with the overcast this was the shot I got of the mountains.

Another aspect of the Tetons is a view from South of West Yellowstone.  Gives a different perspective of these awesome mountains.
