Black and White (from film)

OK here I am again.  Been a while.  These are old photos I took when I was taking a black and white photography class at Shoreline Community College in Seattle, WA.  Because it was in the last century I won't give away the exact year.  I hope you enjoy these photos.

This was a nighttime shot at a boat ramp in West Seattle (near Duwamish Head).  I enjoyed the reflection off the wet surface.

This was an early morning shot of a church up on Capitol Hill in Seattle, WA.

This was a shot of an interesting house on San Orcas Island (I believe).  I liked the symmetry of the stairs and railings.

This is another nighttime shot taken off the Main Street overpass over Interstate 405 in Bellevue, WA.

As is obvious, I like nighttime shots.  This one was taken in the early morning over Lake Union.

I have always been fascinated by sea urchins and their skeletons.  This one was lit by a candle on a tabletop that gave the reflection.

This was shot on Orcas Island near Deer Harbor.

Since I often do power points, it's always interesting to have a background that isn't commercial.  This was taken on a rocky beach somewhere in the San Juan Islands of Washington.
